Hanging Acoustical Baffles
Hanging Acoustical Baffles are sound baffles that are fitted to the ceiling and can be considered as a very effective method for acoustical control which reduces noise and reverberation. Hanging baffles have the advantage that both sides are open to space and hence has double the area for the same baffle. Baffles are used for both indoor and outdoor applications and are available in different types. Acoustical baffles laminated by fabrics are available in many colors. For industrial applications, baffles have aluminum perforated outer cover in a different color. Sound baffles have hanging systems for vertical or horizontal suspension from the ceiling or wall. Being of light weight, baffles do not overload the roof truss or the ceiling. Hanging screens are actually large baffles that are used for visual privacy as well as acoustical control hanging screens and baffles are custom made to suit particular requirements pertaining to profile, finish and size. The baffles come in different shapes e.g., circular, square, oval, or rectangular.
Types
