Acoustical Soundproofing Fabric gripper system wall panel assembly

Fabric Gripper System
Fabric gripper system is a wall panel assembly comprising of a frame, a flat insulating material called a filler, and the selected fabric which is stretched tightly on top of the filler. The fabric is clamped all around the edges of the frame by the fabric gripper jaws. The assembly fabric gripper system is then fixed to the wall on a hanger, in such a way that the assembly is easily removable. The assembly of the frame, fabric, and track are independent of the wall panel and therefore can be assembled on the wall or away from it.
Design
A high impact resistant plastic frame is used as the fabric gripper system track for holding the selected substrate. A substrate is actually an insulating material and is also called “back material “or “core”. The edges of the fabric after being stretched aver the panel surface are tucked into the tracks and gripped firmly by the jaws. The loose edges of the fabric are inserted into the cavities of the channel of the track.
The fabric covering which is held tightly between the jaws can float freely over the panel face. This floating design has several advantages. This design helps to cover up any damages on the panels or painted surfaces which are behind the fabric cover. The seams and joint lines which are normally visible in other types of panel boards are nicely covered up in Fabric gripper system.
Advantages
The fabric can be replaced any time without having to dismantle the entire assembly. Any repair or design change can be carried out easily because the fabric is not glued to the panel. You have to only release the grip of the jaws and remove the fabric and replace with new one. During replacement the substrate and track remain undisturbed. This saves time and money and besides the fabrics used are generally recyclable. Maintenance cost is reduced considerably.
Fabric gripper system is adaptable to different ambiences in the sense that the design, finish, color, etc., of the fabric can be chosen to match the interiors of any architectural demands. The system can be made to suit any size of ceilings or walls.
Applications
The fabric gripper system of sound insulation is ideal for offices, board rooms, conference rooms and training rooms. They are also used widely in cinemas, hotels, recording studios, and convention centers.
System Features
Fabric gripper system does not sag because of its excellent grip. The surface is very even and smooth. The parts inside like tracks are not visible. Tracks are available in different designs. System length is 6 feet which is the standard. Fabric gripper systems are available in lengths of 1300 mm. Double widths are also possible. The fact that the appearance of the interior of any space can be changed without much expenditure by only replacing the fabric makes fabric gripper system very popular.
