Home Makeover Interior designing and decoration tips

The lives of some of the animals had been really dreary, but now they were on the road to loving homes, so I wanted T-BAR’ work space to reflect the happiness that awaited both the animals and their new owners. And all this, of course, had to be accomplished within limited parameters. Luckily, I knew some give you some Idea of how big these clipboards are, they are quite a bit taller than a sofa. Wall-hung cabinets, recessed lighting, and an apparatus for hanging little shelves and things frees up desk space. Want a llama for your mama? Giving photos of all the cute animals up for grabs in a prominent display was intended to expedite their adoption. Aqua and olive inject some playfulness into this office, but the colors aren’t so wild as to look unprofessional. Cork, the material I used for this floor, is a renewable resource and easy on the feet.
The office on these pages may not look that small, but considering that it needed to accommodate a couple of workers as well as their clients, it’s not all that spacious-especially when you consider that some of the clients coming in and out of the office are dogs, cats, and even the stray chicken or pig. I designed this space for the DeAeths, a family that runs an animal rescue operation out of their Texas home. Moved by the plight of so many abused and abandoned animals, the DeAeths began taking them in and caring for them before trying to place them in loving homes. The place was just crazy with dogs, cats, horses, and other assorted animals (including some rescued from Hurricane Katrina).
Clipboards, big and small, are a great way to “frame” art.
